Even before you meet us face-to-face, we want to ensure that you are familiar with us and our training. Our mission is your beautiful smile results and the satisfaction that comes with a renewed self-confidence. It begins by feeling comfortable with our doctors and staff before moving forward with dental implants.
Dr. Chao started her dental career after graduating from UC Berkeley, and went on to earn a DMD from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She proceeded to participate in a residency program in Prosthodontics where she received recognition and awards for material science research and clinical care, then went on to earn her Master of Medical Science in Oral Biology. Dr. Chao has pursued advanced training to provide her patients with the very best in care. She returned to California and became an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California in San Francisco. Dr. Chao is also considered an expert in the application of All-on-4™/ Teeth in a Day™, transforming her patient’s smiles.
Dr. Chao is devoted to staying up-to-date on technology and training in dental implants and all aspects of clinical dental care. She serves as a Prosthodontic consultant in many study clubs for the benefit of other dentists in the community, and maintains memberships in the following organizations:
When she’s not transforming patient smiles, Dr. Chao enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband Wan and two young children.
Dr. Hoang attended UC Irvine and graduated Phi Betta Kappa and Cum Laude with majors in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, along with a minor in Women’s Studies. She went on to graduate from the UCLA School of Dentistry with honors, including the highest honor of the Pacific Coast Society for Prosthodontics and the Section Award in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Hoang then completed her residency program in Advanced Prosthodontics at UCLA.
Dr. Hoang strongly believes in giving back to the community through her dental care skills. She served as a UCLA-USC Mobile Clinic coordinator, bringing dental services to areas where dental care was difficult to find. She also joined dental outreach teams that traveled to Honduras and Fiji, and with Kerry’s Kids, which is a non-profit organization that provides free care to homeless children in the East Bay area. Along with Dr. Chao, Dr. Hoang also serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California in San Francisco.
When she’s outside of the office, Dr. Hoang enjoys hiking, reading, exploring new restaurants in the bay area and spending time with her husband Adam, and their dog, Buster.
Dr. Chao and Dr. Hoang are supported by their wonderful staff at Pleasanton Prosthodontics:
